Hardi Introduces a Pro Force Boom to its Mega Range!
Hardi has introduced the new PRO FORCE boom to its MEGA lift-mounted sprayer. The new boom is designed for stability and performance, making it suitable for challenging field conditions. It is available in widths ranging from 15 to 28 meters.
A hydraulic anti-yaw damper is available as an option for improved performance on hilly terrain. HARDI’s boom wings are designed to protect the boom fluid system and allow for the integration of precision farming solutions. The hydraulic solution is controlled by the HARDI SmartCom electronic platform and supports features such as Auto Fold/Partial folding. HARDI’s smartCom controller is fully ISOBUS-compatible and allows for easy communication with tractors and controllers. The SmartCom system can be operated from the cabin using an ISOBUS terminal alongside a primary joystick and a secondary SetBox.
The upgraded Hardi MEGA sprayer has been developed in response to the growing demand for higher-capacity lift-mounted sprayers. For instance, it showcases a modern design carrying forward the design principles established with the AEON trailed sprayer line in 2019. Moreover, the ability to spray at higher speeds and carry approximately 2,200 liters. This enables the MEGA to compete with trailed sprayers in terms of productivity. Its ease of operation and exceptional performance redefine lift-mounted precision farming standards.
Hardi’s Commitment to Sustainable Agriculture
In response to the growing demand for sustainable agricultural practices, HARDI is at the forefront of developing precision application tools to optimize resource utilization and minimize environmental impact. The HARDI PulseSystem basically regulates nozzle operation and droplet size, enabling efficient spray application.
The CurveControl ensures consistent application across the boom, preventing under- or over-dosing of plant protection products. In addition, HARDI offers offline and online SpotSpray solutions for targeted spraying, reducing chemical waste. GeoSelect leverages high-resolution spatial data to maximize spray effectiveness, achieving up to 90% reduction in chemical waste and 99.7% accuracy in weed targeting. Furthermore, HARDI SpotSelect utilizes advanced onboard cameras and artificial intelligence to detect weeds, diseases, and pests for precise spraying.
HARDI controllers are integrated with Agrirouter for seamless data sharing between farm management systems and sprayers. Finally, HARDI’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of precision application in agriculture paves the way for an environmentally responsible future in farming.
