Bomford Turner Twin Blade HD Topper 2.4 – 2.7m cutting widths.
With an updated heavier than standard design the Twin Blade HD offers all the benefits of its lighter standard model, with the addition of puncture proof rear castor wheels and HD deck and gearbox.
The new deck is made from a heavy gauge 4mm Hardox steel, giving greater strength and durability when cutting bigger material. This new model range is also equipped with the adjustable skids on each end of the machine for depth control, but now with the addition of castor wheels that are made from puncture proof rubber.
The drive for the topper is through a HD cast iron gear box that now has the option of 2 x speed inputs when purchased, 540RPM or 1000RPM. Drive from this is taken out to the large “wing” gearboxes via driveshafts with shock protection fitted as standard.
Beneath the deck of the new HD topper is a pair of timed “domed” pans and swinging blades to give not only an excellent finish on cut material, but also the ultimate protection to the machine, and its drive lines.
